My Favorite HoneyBook Features

Hey, there! As of March 2023, HoneyBook has rebranded, which means they are updating a lot of terms and phrases we frequently use throughout our blog posts. That doesn’t change anything below; it just means you’ll see some different terminology from us moving forward. For more details, we have a breakdown of the changes in this blog!

When it comes to Client Relationship Management tools – also known as CRMs – my go-to is always HoneyBook. It’s the tried-and-true system I use for all of my clients and even my own personal business. If you ask me, everything about HoneyBook is the bomb dot com.

But when I’m not bragging about HoneyBook in general, I’m hyping up my favorite features about this tool. That’s why in my latest video below, I’m giving you a full breakdown of what my favorite features are, how they actually work, and why they’ll change your business for the better.

1. Scheduler

First up: the scheduler feature. I love this one for multiple reasons, but my favorite is that it helps you set boundaries around your schedule. You can easily integrate your HoneyBook scheduler with your Google Calendar, so any event you have on there – business and personal – will automatically block your calendar on HoneyBook, too.

This feature also makes it super easy for others to schedule calls with you. No more coordinating schedules through emails, chats, or messages – it’s all done through HoneyBook. That way, you don’t miss a single inquiry due to your jam-packed inbox or an overlooked message. All of your leads and client calls are scheduled in the same place, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

2. Leads Pipeline

My next favorite HoneyBook feature? The leads pipeline. This lets you see every single person who’s inquired about your business. Whether they’re added through an intake form on your website or you add them manually, you can manage and oversee every single lead in one place.

But wait – it gets better than that. With this feature, you can see and monitor every single form of contact you’ve had with a prospect or lead. Whether that’s an email, a schedule request, a proposal, or anything in between, you can quickly and easily look at every form of communication you’ve had with each lead and check the status of each.

3. Home Screen

Next in line: The tried-and-true home screen. When you’re running a business, it’s important to have multiple views of everything that’s going on at any given time. And personally, I love getting a holistic overview of my business through the lens of the HoneyBook home screen.

It’s where you can see everything from:

  • New inquiries
  • Emails
  • Proposals
  • Contracts
  • Upcoming events
  • How much you’ve made in bookings
  • And so much more!

You can even see all of your tasks and to-dos in one place so you can view and approve items within minutes. No more toggling back and forth between tons of different applications – everything you need to tackle is all right there on your home screen.

4. Templates & Smart Fields

Lastly, I want to brag about the templates and smart fields features of HoneyBook. Why? They’re designed to make your life so. much. easier.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m a sucker for templates, and HoneyBook has so many amazing options to choose from. Whether it’s canned emails, brochures, questionnaires, proposals, or anything in between, there’s a template already created to help you out. I mean, why recreate the wheel several times when you don’t have to?

Beyond that, though, is the smart fields feature, which is hands down one of the best things about HoneyBook. You can use this to autofill names, contact info, and any other details about client projects. The end result? Proposals, contracts, and invoices you can send in five minutes or less, saving you so much time and energy you would have spent doing it manually. How amazing is that?
