Hey, there! As of March 2023, HoneyBook has rebranded, which means they are updating a lot of terms and phrases we frequently use throughout our blog posts.   • Do you have a proposal ready to send after a discovery call?
  • Do you have a contract delivery and signature method?
  • Do you know how to get the information you need so you can start your project?

Next comes your project execution process. Again, you want to have the answers to questions like:

  • Do you know who is responsible for which parts of the projects?
  • Does everyone know when things are due?
  • Does everyone know what steps to take to get things completed?
  • Does your client know when you're starting the project?
  • Do they know where to go to see mockups, drafts, or progress in general?
  • Is there a process for asking for reviews or updating payments?
  • Did you set appropriate boundaries, so your client knows what to expect of you, like when you're working or how to contact you and the team?

We know, we just listed a lot of questions to consider. And sure, maybe you communicate a lot of that through email. But the truth is, having a clearer process — and the right tools — can be a huge benefit to your business, your clients, and your ability to execute projects successfully.
