7 ClickUp Dashboards You Need for Your Agency

ClickUp Dashboards are one of our favorite features on the platform. We like to think of them as command centers, displaying the information we need most at a glance to help us achieve our goals. Your to-do lists, messages, important files — anything and everything you need in ClickUp and outside of it can be housed in a ClickUp Dashboard.

Since everything you need is at your fingertips in a Dashboard, your agency’s workflows are more efficient, your teams are more productive. You spend less time manually searching for what you need and more time on the important stuff!

With this much power, however, figuring out how to customize your ClickUp Dashboards can be tough. That’s why we’ve done the heavy lifting for you. Below, we break down seven of our favorite ClickUp Dashboards, what they can do, and why your agency needs them!

Executive Dashboard

Who it’s for: Agency leaders, C-suite members, stakeholders

What it does: Gives agency leadership a high-level view of important metrics, projects, and team performance.

Key features:

  • Task Overview: Shows total, completed, overdue, and in-progress tasks across projects.
  • Goal Tracking: Visualizes progress of company goals, objectives, or KPIs, such as revenue growth or client satisfaction.
  • Time Tracking: Tracks hours worked by each department or project to help manage and allocate resources.

Leaders and stakeholders in your agency don’t have the time to dig into the data to find the info they need. Managers and team members don’t have the time to stop what they’re doing and answer C-suite questions at the drop of a hat, either!

To keep leadership in the know, use the Executive Dashboard to share quick agency insights and avoid data overload.

Sales Dashboard

Who it’s for: Sales teams

What it does: Helps sales teams manage  leads, oversee deal stages, and track sales performance metrics.

Key features:

  • Sales Pipeline View: Track the number of deals in each stage.
  • Lead Source Tracking: See where your leads are coming from and track conversion rates by source.
  • Revenue Tracking: See total revenue generated from closed deals, expected revenue from pipeline deals, and historical performance.
  • Activity Stream: Track recent interactions with leads and clients (such as emails, calls, meetings) to stay on top of client communication.

Gone are the days of manually entering every new sale. This ClickUp Dashboard houses all of your sales data in one convenient spot and automates the math for you. Stay tuned in to incoming leads, revenue, activity, and the financial health of your agency with a Sales Dashboard.

Project Management Dashboard

Who it’s for: Project managers

What it does: Helps project managers monitor progress, track deadlines, manage resources, and keep projects on schedule.

Key features:

  • Workload View: Shows how tasks are distributed among team members to prevent overloading or wasted resources.
  • Task Statuses: A breakdown of tasks by status (e.g., In Progress, Blocked, Completed), revealing where there may be bottlenecks in projects.
  • Project Timeline: Visualize milestones, project phases, and upcoming deadlines to keep the team aligned.

ClickUp has a ton of features that project managers will find useful, but this Project Management Dashboard is at the top of the list! Thanks to different data points like Workload View and task lists, project managers can keep projects (and team members) on track to meet deadlines and goals.

Client-Facing Dashboard

Who it’s for: Your clients!

What it does: Shares key details such as current project status and deliverables with clients

Key features:

  • Task Progress Overview: A simplified view of task progress that shows tasks completed, in progress, upcoming deliverables, and more.
  • Time Tracking: Show time spent on their project (especially billable hours!).
  • Milestones & Deadlines: Display important upcoming milestones, such as key deliverables or meetings.

Like the Executive Dashboard, the Client-Facing Dashboard shares key information with its intended audience without getting into the unnecessary, nitty-gritty details. This ClickUp Dashboard also protects confidential agency information and internal processes from accidentally being shared.

Human Resources Dashboard

Who it’s for: Human resources teams

What it does: Gives HR teams visibility into recruitment, employee engagement, and overall team health.

Key features:

  • Recruitment Pipeline: Track the status of job applications, interviews, and hires in progress.
  • Employee Time Off Tracking: Show approved, pending, and upcoming paid time off  for team members.
  • Headcount and Open Roles: Monitor current headcount, open positions, and time-to-fill roles.

Hiring, onboarding, and managing an entire agency can be a beast. It’s a lot of paperwork to track and manage. And it gets even more complicated when you hire not only employees, but contractors and freelancers, too.

Empower your HR team with the tools they need to set up new hires for success, wrangle important documents, and manage your agency. The Human Resources Dashboard is where it’s at.

KPI Dashboard

Who it’s for: Team leaders and department heads

What it does: Helps leaders track and analyze performance metrics across an agency to make data-based decisions.

Key features:

  • Company-Wide KPIs: Displays overarching KPIs to create an overall view of company health, using data like revenue, customer satisfaction, or client acquisition.
  • Department-Specific Metrics: Tracks performance across different departments (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to measure individual contributions to company goals.
  • Trend Analysis: Visualizes data over time, allowing leadership to spot patterns, trends, or areas that need improvement.
  • Goal Progress: Tracks progress toward specific targets, like deadlines or quotas, to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

To track the progress toward achieving more specific goals, you’ll need a more granular look at the numbers. This metrics-specific ClickUp Dashboard dives deeper into your KPIs  than the Executive Dashboard does.

Team Member Dashboard

Who it’s for: Individual team members

What it does: Offers team members a clear overview of their tasks, priorities, and progress to help them stay on track and manage their workload effectively.

Key features:

  • Task List by Priority: Displays all tasks assigned and sorts them by due date or importance, so high-priority tasks can be tackled first.
  • Due Date Tracker: Shows upcoming deadlines across all projects, helping team members stay aware of immediate and future tasks.
  • Time Logged: Tracks time spent on tasks to ensure proper allocation of hours.
  • Progress Bar: Visualizes the percentage of tasks completed versus pending, motivating team members to stay on track.

Set team members up for success with a team member-specific ClickUp Dashboard! ClickUp can be a lot, and it’s easy to get distracted. This Dashboard helps your team members focus on information, tasks, and projects that matter most to them right now.
